Phuket Starts First Day of New Year Seven Days Road Safety Campaign with Four Accidents

Phuket has announced in total four road accidents with four injuries on the first day (December 29th) of the New Year Seven Day Road Safety campaign.

The Phuket Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) Office told the Phuket Express today (December 30th) details on the first day (December 29th) of the New Year Seven Days Road Safety campaign from December 29th, 2023 to January 4th, 2024.

There were in total four accidents with four male injuries. No deaths were reported.

Three road accidents with three injuries were in Mueang Phuket district. One road accident with one injury was in the Kathu district.

Of those four road accidents, three road accidents were involving motorcycles and one road accident was a bicycle.

Two of those involved drunk driving and the other was speeding.

Three road accidents were on straight roads and the other was on a normal curve.
