He is being accused of causing another person to commit offence by compulsion, threat, hire, asking as a favor or instigation (attempted murder of a Russian man with a gun).

The Phuket Express is withholding the name of the victim which was released by the Phuket Immigration.

The name of the Russian suspect and other details of the incident were not revealed by relevant officers other than reporting the incident in general to the press. The Russian man has not released a statement to the press.

The Phuket Express noted that the shooting incident was in Cherng Talay, Thalang because the suspect was taken back to the Cherng Talay Police Station instead of being taken to the Sakoo Police Station in the airport area as usual.
