Ukrainian Man Seriously Injured after a Taxi Crashed into His Motorbike at a Phuket Intersection – VIDEO

A male Ukrainian has sustained severe injuries after his big bike was crashed into by a taxi at an intersection in Rassada, Mueang Phuket.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 4:30 P.M. on Tuesday (December 19th) at an intersection near the Tesco Lotus Samkong.

They arrived at the scene to find the foreign motorbike rider. He had sustained severe injuries and he was rushed to a nearby hospital. Nearby, first responders found the damaged big bike and taxi car. The male rider was later identified as a 28-year-old Ukrainian man, but his name was withheld.

A dash cam video of a car behind the accident shows that the motorbike was stopped at the red light at the intersection. When the light just turned green, the big bike started heading straight and the taxi car hit the big bike.

The Phuket City Police are continuing their investigation for further potential legal action. The taxi driver was not identified to the press.
