Laotian and Iranian National Arrested in Phuket for Illegally Staying in Thailand

A Laotian and an Iranian national were arrested in Phuket after they were found being illegally staying foreigners in Thailand.

The Phuket Tourist Police told the Phuket Express that on Tuesday (December 20th) they and Phuket Immigration arrested a Laotian and an Iranian national. They are facing charges of illegally entering and staying in the country without permission and are waiting to be deported.

Details about the two men were not revealed by relevant officers other than reporting the incident in general to the press. The two foreigners have not released a statement to the press.
