Phuket –
A trailer truck overturned on a main road in Phuket which caused significant traffic delays.
The Phuket City Police were notified of the accident on Sunday afternoon (December 17th) on the Thep Krasattri Road northbound to Rassada. The first responders arrived at the scene to find the overturned trailer truck entirely blocking the road.
The driver, identified only as Mr. Jiradet, 25, told police that he was delivering products to a shopping mall nearby. He admitted that he tried to enter the wrong entrance and while trying to back out the rear of the truck hit the central reservation and overturned.
Traffic was delayed for about an hour but there were no injuries. It was unclear if the driver would face any legal charges relating to the accident.
