Man Found with 200 Meth Pills after Police were Called to a Fight in Chalong

A man was found with 200 methamphetamine pills after police were notified of a fight in Rawai.

The Chalong Police told the Phuket Express that they were notified of a fight on Sunday (December 17th) in the Thai Mai Village. They arrived at the scene to find the man who allegedly started the confrontation. According to law enforcement, the suspect looked very suspicious causing police to conduct a search of his physical person, which in Thailand is legal.

The suspect was found during the police search to have 200 methamphetamine pills. He was taken to the Chalong Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of category 1 drugs with intent to sell.

His name, however, was not released by the Chalong police nor the details of the fight that had originally brought the attention of law enforcement.
