Teens Open Fire at Phuket Town Home, Injure Young Man with a Sharp Weapon

Phuket –

A group of teenagers opened fire at a residential home before injuring a young man with a sharp weapon in Phuket Town. Police have stated a previous dispute between the two parties is believed to have been the cause.

The Phuket City Police were notified of the incident at 1:50 A.M. on Friday (December 15th) at a house in Soi Ton Poe, Talad Yai. They arrived at the house to find a damaged window. A bullet hole and two bullet cartridges were also found.

The house owner, whose name was not released by authorities, told police that there were about five teenagers on motorbikes who came to the house asking to see his son. He told them that his son was not there and then the teens opened fire at the house with a gun before speeding away.

When his son came back to the house, he followed the teenagers to the entrance of a nearby road and the teenagers slashed his son’s hand with a sharp object.

At this stage, police believe that the suspects and the victim might have had tumultuous issues before. Regardless, police are hunting for the teenage suspects for further legal action.
