UPDATE: Taiwanese Tourist and Motorbike Rental Operator Thanks Police After Arresting Motorbike Thieves in Chalong

A Taiwanese tourist and a motorbike rental operator thanked the Chalong Police who returned a stolen rented motorbike and arrested the thieves within three days.

Now for the update:

The Chalong Police told the Phuket Express on Tuesday (December 12th) that Mr. CHEN HONG XI, Taiwanese national, rented a motorbike from Mr. Narongchai Wangboonkong. He parked the motorbike in front of a house on the Wiset Road in Rawai. Two suspects then stole the motorbike overnight.

Mr. CHEN and Mr. Narongchai said thank you to the Chalong Police after they quickly arrested and returned the stolen motorbike within three days.

Mr. CHEN said that he will invite his Taiwanese friends to visit Phuket too. He has confidence in the safety of Phuket and was impressed with the police doing a great job.
