Thirty Air Conditioning Compressors Stolen from a Hotel in Thalang

Thalang –

Thirty air conditioning compressors and two huge water pumps were reported stolen from a hotel in Cherng Talay.

The owner of an unidentified four storey hotel in Bangtao, Mr. Rattanon Ploysri, told The Phuket Express that at 3:00 A.M. on December 7th, a security guard told him that thieves stole 30 air conditioning compressors and two huge water pumps outside the building in a relatively short period of time despite the hotel being surrounded with fences. The estimated cost of damages is about a million baht.

Mr. Rattanon filed a report to the Cherng Talay Police. He told police that thieves allegedly stole air conditioning compressors from nearby places many times too.

Five years ago thieves also stole from his pool villa next to his hotel. He urged police to quickly arrest the suspects and speculated they could be the same individuals.

As of press time, the thieves were still at large.
