Phang Nga –

Sea turtle eggs were found on a beach in the Taklua Thung district.

Officials from the Marine and Coastal Resources told the Phuket Express that on Tuesday (November 21st) they were notified by locals that they had found traces of a mother sea turtle on a beach at Ao Lah Toh in the Baan Khao Pilai, Kok Kloi sub-district over the past weekend.

They went to the beach to find the sea turtle’s nest. Inside were found some sea turtle eggs. The area was not affected by seawater or poor weather and the nest is being protected and monitored until the eggs hatch by the relevant authorities.
