Fire Destroys Car in Chalong – VIDEO

Chalong –

A fire destroyed a parked sedan in Chalong, alarming nearby residents.

Captain Jaras Lempan of the Chalong Police was notified of the car fire in Soi Tanuthep on the Chao Fa West Road in Chalong, Mueang Phuket yesterday, November 21st, 2023 overnight.

First responders arrived at the scene with firefighters and fire engines from the Chalong Municipality to find the sedan. The fire was heavily ablaze at the sedan, however, the fire was finally placed under control within 15 minutes.

The sedan driver, Mr. Sampan Promduang, 58, from Phatthalung was later contacted and arrived at the scene after his neighbor called him.

Sampan told police that had just arrived in Phuket in August of this year. He had parked his sedan near his house since November 19th. He had no idea how his car caught fire. The Forensic Police are continuing their investigation to find the exact cause of the fire.
