Three people have been arrested with 100 sets of beach beds seized on Karon beach outside of the legal permission zone, say police.
Officials from the Mueang Phuket District Office and Karon Police inspected Karon Beach. The inspection came after they received complaints that there were beach bed operators outside the legal beach bed permission zone.
Three people have been arrested and 100 sets of beach beds were seized from them. They were taken to the Karon Police Station to face charges of breaking the Act of the Maintenance of the Cleanliness and Orderliness of the city.
They were not identified by name to the Thai press.
