Seven People Arrested with 500 Methamphetamine Pills in Rawai

Seven people including a teenager were arrested in Rawai with more than 500 methamphetamine pills.

A team from the Chalong Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they arrested seven drug suspects in Rawai who were identified only as:

  • Toe, 59. Seized from him were 148 methamphetamine pills.
  • A 16 year old teen. Seized from him were 198 methamphetamine pills.
  • Waraphon, 25, Mr. Jam, 22, Mr. Tarathep, 26, Ms. Siriwan, 37. Seized from them were 146 methamphetamine pills.
  • Om, 24. Seized from him were 26 methamphetamine pills.

They are all from Rawai. They were taken to the Chalong Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell.
