Phuket –

Police are hunting for a suspect who damaged buses with a slingshot in Rassada.

The manager of a bus transportation company filed a report to the Phuket City Police about the incident earlier this week. She told police that the two buses that were damaged were parked at a bus parking area inside a gas station in Rassada, Mueang Phuket.

The Phuket Forensic Police inspected the buses and believed that the buses’ glass windows were damaged by shots from a wooden slingshot.

CCTV footage nearby did not seem to immediately capture any suspects on video. Police believe the suspect might have shot the buses from a forest behind the gas station. They also told The Phuket Express that they are hunting for the suspect.

The exact amount of financial damages from the attack on the buses was not made known to the press
