Cruise Liner Visits Phuket with 4,600 Foreign Tourists

Phuket –

A cruise liner with 4,616 tourists arrived at a pier in Patong this past weekend.

On Saturday (November 4th) the Spectrum of the Seas Royal Caribbean Cruiseliner arrived in Phuket at 8:00 A.M for a one-day in Patong visit before leaving Phuket at 8:00 P.M. on the same day.

There were 4,616 tourists on the cruise liner. Most of them were Singaporeans, Filipinos, Koreans, Indonesians, Malaysians, Indians and Chinese.

Patong officials have welcomed the return of cruise liners to Phuket, saying it is a positive boon for the tourism industry that is still recovering from Covid-19 when borders and cruise liners were essentially shut down in Thailand for over two years.
