Phuket –

A female driver has sustained minor injuries after she lost control of her vehicle before crashing into an oil trailer truck inside an underpass in Mueang Phuket.

The Phuket City Police were notified of the accident inside the Samkong Underpass on the south bound lane of the Rassada sub-district at 4:15 A.M. on Thursday (November 2nd).

Police, Emergency responders, and the Phuket Express arrived at the scene to find the severely damaged sedan. Nearby, they found the damaged oil trailer truck with its front right and back right tires exploded. The sedan driver, who declined to give their name or statement to the press, sustained only minor injuries.

The truck driver, Mr. Phonchai Hemkaew, 39, told Phuket City Police that he was heading from Surat Thani to deliver oil to MaKham Bay in Wichit, Mueang Phuket.
