Roads in Phuket Old Town to Close for New Sunday Walking Street

Some roads in Phuket Old Town will be temporarily closed every Sunday for a new walking street.

The Chartered Walking Street will be launched next month in Phuket Old Town.

Now, our update:

The Phuket City Municipality told the Phuket Express that the new Chartered Walking Street will be on every Sunday and starts on Sunday November 5th, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. in Phuket Old Town.

The Phang Nga Road (From the Yaowarad Road intersection with Phang Nga Road to Chartered Interaction, Soi Pradit and Soi Takua Pa) in the Talad Yai sub-district will be temporarily closed to traffic from 1:00 P.M. to midnight each Sunday.

Free parking areas will be available at Dang Plaza, Soi Pradit (only motorbikes), the Soi near Bangkok Bank, and the parking area at Public Market 1 (Ban San Market on the Ranong Road.)
