Motorbike Rider Seriously Injured after Crashing into Trailer Truck in Rassada

A motorbike rider has sustained severe injuries after he slammed his motorbike into the rear-end of a parked trailer truck in Rassada, Mueang Phuket.

The Phuket City Police was notified of the accident on Thursday morning (October 12th) on the Thep Krasattri Road opposite the entrance of Soi Bang She Lao.

Emergency responders and the Phuket Express arrived at the scene to find a damaged motorbike stuck at the back of a trailer truck. Nearby, the response teams found the rider, Mr. Sutthi Korpaiboon, 36. He had sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

The trailer truck driver, Mr. Prasert Thongluan, 40, told police that he stopped his trailer truck on the roadside for about one hour to deliver iron rods to a shop before the motorbike crashed into his vehicle.

The Phuket City Police are continuing their investigation for further possible legal action.
