Rawai –
An electric cable fire on a local road in Rawai, Mueang Phuket, alarmed residents at night earlier this week.
Firefighters at the Rawai Municipality were notified of the fire on Tuesday night (October 9th) at a power pole on the Sai Yuan Road. They arrived at the scene with a fire engine to find the fire was already ablaze on electric cables. It took about 10 minutes to control the fire and ensure it was not spread to any nearby buildings. No injuries or other damage was reported.
