Fire Damages Funeral Service Office at Phuket Temple

Phuket –

A fire damaged a funeral service office at a temple in Chalong.

Firefighters from the Chalong Municipality were notified of the fire on Sunday (October 8th) at the Funeral Service Office of the Phuket Cultural Office inside the Ladthiwanaram Temple (Wat Tai).

The firefighters and the Phuket Express arrived at the scene to find black smoke coming out from the office. Local residents had helped to put out the fire before the firefighters arrived. It took only fifteen minutes in total for firefighters to control the fire. No injuries were reported but part of the office was damaged by the fire.

The Chalong Police are continuing their investigation to find the exact cause of the fire.
