Phuket –

A woman was arrested in Thalang after she allegedly was involved in a murder eight years ago.

The Crime Suppression Division Police told the Phuket Express that they arrested a woman identified only as Ms. Arnee in Pa Klok. She is being accused of being involved in a murder, illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, and carrying a gun in public without permission.

The arrest came after another suspect, who was only identified as Mr. Abduloh and has already been arrested allegedly planned with his ex-girlfriend Ms. Arnee for a murder. Ms. Arnee reportedly set up an appointment to meet the victim, only identified as a Mr. Maae, before Mr. Abduloh shot the victim to death.

Police believed the murder stemmed from a conflict regarding the sale of illegal drugs.

As of press time, both suspects remained in custody although their plea to the charges and whether or not they had obtained the services of a lawyer or would be able to seek bail were unknown.
