Thai Interior Minister Anutin Wishes for ‘Undivided Thailand’ on His Birthday

National —

Anutin Charnvirakul, the new Minister of Interior of Thailand, celebrated his 57th birthday today, September 13th, and wished for national harmony.

“May sacred entities help bring happiness and robust health to the Thai people. May Thailand be free from conflicts, and may the Thai nation progress and prosper,” Anutin said on Wednesday at Wat Ratchabophit in Bangkok during his casual birthday celebration.

The Interior Minister, now 57, paid his respects to the Royal Statue of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn, Rama V, before paying homage to Somdet Phra Maha Wirawong, the Secretary to the Supreme Patriarch, at the temple.

He was accompanied by many government officials and associates. Anutin then took a group photo and left the temple for the government building to attend the first official Cabinet meeting of Thailand’s new government.
