Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and his cabinet members have been sworn in before His Majesty the King on Tuesday, September 5th.

His Majesty granted them an audience at Amporn Sathan Residential Hall at Dusit Palace in Bangkok at 2 PM.

Srettha, who was royally appointed prime minister for the first term on August 23rd, addressed the media following a solemn ceremony. He said that he is committed to leading the government in accordance with the principles and guidance of His Royal Majesty the King. He emphasized that this government represents the people and is dedicated to addressing the numerous challenges faced by the country.

“The government is determined to work tirelessly, addressing the needs and aspirations of the citizens every day and every minute,” Srettha said.

He added that this Friday, he will visit the provinces of Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, and Nong Khai to engage with the people and understand their issues. Next week, on Monday, the government will announce its official policies to the parliament. The prime minister announced that this government aims to foster fairness and transparency in governance within the framework of constitutional monarchy, while strengthening active participation with citizens.
