Rider Dies after Motorbike Collides with Bus in Thalang

A motorbike rider died after his motorbike crashed into a tour bus in Thalang.

The Thalang Police were notified of the accident on the Sri Soonthorn Road in the Sri Soonthorn sub-district before midnight on Tuesday (August 15th).

Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the damaged motorbike on the road.

Nearby they found the body of the rider, Mr. Jakkrapop Tuaysiri, 53. He was a painter at a hotel. A tour bus was found nearby with front end damage.

The tour bus driver, Mr. Sittichai Puhard, 45, told police that he was carrying more than 10 tourists from Kamala. It was raining when the motorbike, which was riding in the wrong direction, crashed into the bus.

However, Thalang police are continuing their investigation to find out the exact cause of the accident for possible further investigation into the incident.
