Noodle Vendor in Phuket Town Injured After Bus’s Side Door Opens Suddenly

Phuket –

A noodle vendor in Phuket Town has sustained injuries after a bus’s side door opened suddenly.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident in Poon Phon, Talad Yai earlier this week. They arrived at the scene to find an overturned motorbike sidecar which belonged to an unidentified noodle vendor. The female noodle vendor had broken her arm and injured her head. She was immediately taken to a hospital.

Witnesses said the bus’s side door, which belongs to a luggage storage area, accidentally suddenly opened. The motorbike sidecar was driving near the bus before it was hit and overturned. The bus driver helped the injured woman and took responsibility for the action, added police, and due to his cooperation was unlikely to be charged legally.

The name of the bus company and the driver were withheld by Phuket Town police.
