Fire Damages Home in Chalong

Chalong –

A fire has damaged a home in Chalong, Mueang Phuket.

Firefighters at the Chalong Municipality were notified of the fire earlier this week at a home in Soi Tanu Thep. Three firefighters with a fire engine arrived at the house to find smoke coming out from an upper floor. It took about ten minutes to control the fire. The room on the second floor, which was used as a Buddhist shrine, was damaged but no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under review as of press time.
