A pickup truck driver who escaped serious injuries after he slammed into another truck in Rassada believes he has been helped by his special religious amulet and also blamed the wet road for causing the accident.
The Phuket City Police was notified of the accident at about 1:00 A.M. on Friday (July 21st) on the Chalerm Phrakiet Rama 9 Road (Bypass Road) in Rassada, Mueang Phuket.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the damaged pickup truck and a second larger truck on the road.
The pickup truck driver said there was some rain before he lost control of his vehicle. He suffered only minor scratches. He said he has been protected from any serious injuries by his famous religious amulet.
However, Phuket police are continuing their investigation for further possible legal action related to liability around the accident.
