Man Arrested After Threatening Wife With Gun in Thalang, Phuket

An intoxicated man was arrested after he threatened his wife with a gun in Thalang.

Pol. Col. Pisit Chuenpeth, superintendent of the Thalang Police, told the Phuket Express that they had received a report from Mrs. Nooeuerb Singin on Sunday (July 9th). She told police that her intoxicated son, Mr. Teerayut ‘Khun’ Singin, had threatened his wife with a gun at a house in Thep Krasattri.

Police arrived at the house to find Mr. Teerayut in a car at the front of the house. Inside his car, they found a handmade handgun. He was taken to the Thalang Police Station.

Teerayut admitted to police that he had used some illegal drugs before the incident. He is facing charges of illegal possession of a firearm without a permit, carrying a gun in public without a proper reason, and driving while using methamphetamine.
