Injured Baby Monkey Rescued in Phuket

An injured baby monkey has been rescued on a hill in Phuket.

The head of the Khao Phra Thaeo Nature and Wildlife Study Center Mr. Pongchart Chueahom told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they were notified by locals that there was an injured baby monkey on the Toh Sae Hill in Rassada.

The baby monkey had been injured on both legs after it was bitten by other monkeys and could not move either of its legs. The baby monkey is being provided with treatment and shelter.
