Thai Prime Minister Vote Scheduled to Take Place on July 13th

The newly elected House Speaker of the Thai Parliament, Wan Muhamad Noor Matha, has set July 13th, 2023 as the D-Day for the vote for Thailand’s 30th prime minister.

Wan Muhamad Noor Matha from the Prachachart Party has been chosen unanimously to become the House Speaker of the Thai Parliament.

Now for the update:

Mr. Wan Muhamad said after a meeting at Parliament on Wednesday (July 5th). “We have discussed the situation with the Speaker of the Senate Mr. Pornpetch Wichitcholchai. He agreed for voting to take place to elect the 30th prime minister of Thailand on Thursday, July 13th, 2023. The voting will start at 9.30 A.M. onward in the joint sitting of national assembly.”
