Pheu Thai Party PM Candidate Paetongtarn Infected With Covid-19

Pheu Thai Party PM candidate Paetongtarn ‘Ung Ing’ Shinawatra, the daughter of former PM Thaksin Shinawatra, has been infected with COVID-19 for the second time.

Ung Ing posted on her personal Instagram on Wednesday (June 21st). She states, “I have had a sore throat since Sunday (June 18th). I conducted an ATK test every day since then but tested positive today. I hope my two kids are not infected.”

TPN media noted that this is the second time that Ung Ing has been infected with Covid -19. This afternoon she was scheduled to have an in-person seminar with her political party but she is now unable to join.

Meanwhile, she isn’t the only famous Thai politician to test positive today.

PM in waiting and leader of the Move Forward Party Pita Limjaroenrat has been infected with COVID-19 for the third time.
