UPDATE: Two Phuket Taxi Drivers Charged after Hitting and Damaging a ‘Mobile Application’ Taxi

Two local taxi drivers have been charged with damage to property and threatening behaviour after they hit and jumped onto a ‘mobile application’ taxi car while foreign passengers were inside.

Our previous story:

A local taxi driver allegedly attacked and jumped onto a mobile application taxi car with a foreign passenger inside in the Thalang district.

Now for the update:

The Cherng Talay Police told the Phuket Express that there were three local taxi drivers involved in the incidents. Two of them were identified as Mr. Wuttidet Promthong and Mr. Udomchai Pengsut and were called to the local police station. They are facing charges of damaging other’s property and threatening other individuals. Meanwhile, the final involved taxi driver is being called to face legal action too but was not immediately identified by police.
