Suspect Arrested after Allegedly Stealing Foreigner’s Car in Phuket

Phuket –

A suspect was arrested after he allegedly stole a car from a foreigner in Phuket.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) reports this week that they have arrested a Thai male suspect (Name and age was not given) from Udon Thani, Northeast Thailand, at a gas station in Patiew, Chomphon, upper Southern Thailand.

The arrest came after the suspect allegedly stole an SUV from an unidentified foreigner at a housing estate in Koh Kaew, Mueang Phuket. He was evidently going to sell the stolen SUV in a neighbouring country.

Police also found that the suspect was allegedly involved in many previous cases such as theft and illegal drugs.

The foreigner was reportedly elated to have their car back.
