Driver Injured After Sedan Crashes into Power Pole in Kathu

Kathu –

A driver has sustained several injuries after their sedan crashed into a power pole in Kathu.

Emergency responders told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the accident on Monday (June 5th) near the entrance of the Bang Ward Dam in Kathu. They arrived at the scene to find a damaged sedan and a damaged power pole nearby.

The unidentified female driver had sustained several injuries. She was taken to a nearby hospital. She admitted to emergency responders that she was tired and “might” have fallen asleep at the wheel before the accident.
