Russian Man Drowns at Phuket Beach

Phuket –

A Russian tourist drowned at a beach in Thalang after reportedly ignoring red flags that declare no swimming is allowed.

The Phuket Tourist Police was notified at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday (June 3rd) that a male Russian tourist had drowned at the Nai Thon Beach.

Lifeguards at the beach told police that the tourist ignored the red flag.

Lifeguards also warned him before he ignored them as well. The tourist drowned before he was pulled up from the water.
