Certificate Given to Phuket Nurse Who Stopped to Help Injured Person While Off-Duty

Phuket –

A certificate was given to a nurse who was off-duty when she stopped to help an injured person at a road accident in Thalang.

On Monday (May 29th) the director of the Vachira Phuket Hospital Doctor Weerasak Lorthongkam awarded the registered nurse Ms. Juthathip Promsut with a certificate, Doctor Weerasak told the Phuket Express.

Nurse Juthathip was not on-duty when she saw an accident between two motorbikes near the Phuket Heroines Monument in Thalang last week. She stopped at the scene to help the injured female who was unable to move her arm while they were waiting for an ambulance. The woman was later taken to a nearby hospital.

Nurse Juthathip stated she was just doing what any good nurse or doctor would do when they saw someone in trouble.
