Four People Rescued After Falling Into Well in Thalang, Phuket

Thalang –

Two men fell into a well before two other men who were trying to help them fell into the well also in Cherng Talay, Phuket.

Emergency responders were notified from local residents that four men fell into a well in Soi Pasak on Thursday (May 25th). They and the Phuket Express arrived at the scene to find the four men inside the deep well. They were all still conscious and fairly calm.

Rescue workers dropped down a rope into the well. They tied each other with the rope before rescue workers pulled them up one by one.

The first two men, whose names were not given, aged 27 and 56, were taken to a local hospital. The two other men who were trying to help the first two men sustained only minor injuries and declined an offer to go to a hospital.

Local residents told The Phuket Express that the first man was looking into the well before he accidentally fell in. This then caused a chain reaction of various others falling in after they attempted to help as well.
