Cruise Liner Arrives On Samui Island With 1,800 Tourists

Samui, Surat Thani –

A cruise liner departed from Chonburi with 1,800 tourists before heading to Cambodia, Vietnam, and arrived on Samui Island.

The Surat Thani Governor Mr. Witchawut Jintoe told The Phuket Express, “This week the ‘COSTA SERENA’ cruise liner arrived at the Na Thon Pier with Thai and Asian tourists for a ‘One Day Trip’.”

“They departed from the Laem Chabang Pier in Si Racha and then headed to Cambodia, then to Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam, and finally to Samui Island.” The Governor explained.

“Tourists visited tourism places on Samui Island such as walking on natural trails, visiting temples, some tourists went swimming in the sea, ate sea food and street food, and experienced the local way of life.” The Governor added.

“Since November of last year until this year, at least 32 cruise liners arrived on Samui Island.” The Governor concluded.
