Suspect Arrested With 5,800 Methamphetamine Pills in Rassada, Phuket

A male suspect from Nakhon Si Thammarat was arrested in Rassada, Phuket with 5,800 methamphetamine pills.

The Phuket Provincial Police told the Phuket Express that they have arrested Mr. Pairoj Mangsri, 39, from Nakhon Si Thammarat. Seized from him were 1.19 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 5,800 methamphetamine pills. He was arrested in Soi King Kaew in Rassada.

The arrest came after police received an anonymous tip-off that Mr. Roj was selling illegal drugs in the Rassada area.

Phuket Police conducted a sting operation in which they finally arrested the suspect.

He was taken to the Phuket City Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of category 1 drugs with intent to sell.
