1. The Move Forward party leader Pita Limjaroenrat, 42, on Monday (May 15^th) declared a victory after the unofficial Thai general election vote count released by the Election Commission (EC).

The Thai Election Commission (EC) said on Monday (May 15^th) that 75.22 percent of Thai people turned out for an election vote which is the highest record in Thai history.

It’s going to be a long road to the PM seat however and will have many obstacles for Pita as not everyone supports him in this role, especially from the conservative establishment.

2. Although Thailand’s general election resulted in a heroic victory for the Move Forward Party, their bid to form a coalition government may not be plain sailing after certain members of the upper house (Senate) made it clear that they will not vote for the party’s prime ministerial candidate as the country’s 30th premier.

As stated above, this is only one of multiple potential issues for Move Forward Party to overcome.

3. A Polish man has allegedly murdered a Ukrainian woman and dismembered her by cutting apart her body with a saw at a condominium in Bangkok.
