Three suspects were arrested with hand grenades and 314 methamphetamine pills in Wichit.
The Phuket Provincial Police told the Phuket Express this weekend that they have arrested three suspects who were identified as Mr. Suwit Anchananon, 40, Mr. Paradon Daechakun, 26, and Ms. Wirairak Anonam, 21. They were arrested at a rental room in Soi Boon Bandan.
Seized from them were 49.30 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 314 methamphetamine pills, two grenades, two handguns, and 44 bullets.
They were taken to the Wichit Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of category 1 drugs with intent to sell. Mr. Suwit is facing an additional charge of illegal possession of hand grenades. Mr. Paradon is facing additional charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
The suspects did not speak to the media regarding why they had the items in question.
