Fire Destroys House in Patong, One Person Injured

Patong –

A fire has destroyed a small home in Patong. One person was reported injured from smoke inhalation.

The Patong firefighters were notified of the fire at 5:00 P.M. on Friday (May 19th) at a house in Soi Kalim 5. Firefighters arrived at the house with four fire engines to find the fire was heavily ablaze. Firefighters took about half an hour to control the fire.

The fire did not spread to nearby houses and buildings but the house was destroyed.

One unidentified person was injured from smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still being investigated as of press time.
