Cruise Liner Arrives in Phuket with 2,000 Tourists

Phuket –

A cruise liner from Malaysia with 2,000 tourists arrived at a pier in Wichit.

On Monday (May 15th) the Phuket Marine Office Chief, Mr. Chayapong Pranit, welcomed more than 2,000 tourists who arrived on the cruise liner from Langkawi in Malaysia at the Phuket Marine Custom Pier in Makham Bay.

Mr. Chayapong told the Phuket Express. “The first cruise liner since 2019 arrived in Patong in October of last year after the Covid -19 situation had eased”

The first cruise liner has arrived in Patong.

“More cruise liners are coming to Patong and Ao Makham, Phuket. Since October last year there are more than 160,000 tourists from cruise liners which has continued to generate money to Phuket. This means that tourists have more confidence in visiting Phuket,” Mr. Chayapong explained.
