A British teenager has been found dead with head wounds in a forest in Lampang province, northern Thailand. His girlfriend who went for a motorbike ride with him also went missing.
A suspect has been arrested and reportedly admitted to Thai police to murdering a 16-year-old British/Thai teenager who was found dead with head wounds in a forest in Lampang province, northern Thailand .
A missing teen female who was last seen accompanying a murdered British/Thai boy to meet with an older Thai man was found deceased and buried in a forest in Lampang, Northern Thailand.

2. The Department of Land Transport Phuket Office has continued to warn of what they call an online and illegal driving license scam where there are still more than 200 Facebook pages and accounts scamming people.
To get a legal driving license, people can book a space in the queue via the ‘DLT Smart Queue application.
3. Thailand is entering the final stretch before Thai people go to the polls for the general election in which they elect Members of Parliament across the country on May 14th.
Move Forward Party has said they are claiming victory in the Thai general election but it’s a long way to go for the next PM.
4. Thailand saw 446,936 foreign tourists in the first week of May 2023, a slight decline due to the end of the long holiday in many regions, said the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Tourism and Sports.
The office estimated that there would be at least 2 million tourists visiting the country in May mainly from ASEAN countries, East Asia, and Southeast Asia.
5. Thailand’s sex workers are optimistic that a new government after the May 14th election will pass legislation that helps to decriminalize the country’s thriving sex industry, which provides livelihoods to an estimated 300,000 people, unofficially.
Officially, the Thai Government has in the past claimed there was no prostitution in Thailand, a statement widely scoffed at by critics and activists.
