Myanmar Man Arrested with 82 Methamphetamine Pills in Thalang

A Myanmar man was arrested with 82 methamphetamine pills in Thalang.

The Thalang District Chief Mr. Bancha Tanuin told the Phuket Express that on Friday (May 12th) officers arrested Mr. So Win, 42, a Myanmar national at a work camp in Thep Krasattri sub-district. Seized from him were 82 methamphetamine pills.

He was taken to the Thalang Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of Category 1 drugs with the intent to sell.

He also tested positive in a urine drugs test.
