UPDATE: Arrest Warrant Issued for Suspect after Grocer Was Stabbed to Death at His Own Grocery in Phuket

Phuket –

An arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect from Phatthalung after he allegedly stabbed a local grocer at his own grocery in Phuket Town following a suspected dispute with a former customer.

The Phuket City Police was notified of the incident at 1:30 A.M. on Saturday (May 6th) at a local Thai grocery on Sri Saena Road in Talad Yai sub-district.

Now for the update:

Phuket City Police Captain Wichit Nokkaew told the Phuket Express that on May 6th, the Phuket Provincial Court issued an arrest warrant for Mr. Tarapong ‘Jack’ Nepbua, 34 from Phatthalung. He is facing charges of attacking another person and causing a death in a public area by using a knife.

Captain Wichit told the Phuket Express that Jack escaped to his hometown in Phatthalung after the incident.

As of press time, Phatthalung Police are still hunting for the suspect.
