Phang Nga –

Sea turtle eggs were found on a beach in the Khura Buri district.

The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR) Phang Nga office told the Phuket Express that on Thursday (May 4th) they were notified by a village head man that the tracks of a mother sea turtle had been found on a beach in the Koh Phra-Thong sub-district.

Officials went to the beach where they found the nest with sea turtle eggs buried inside. The area was not affected by seawater or poor weather. The nest will be monitored until the eggs hatch by relevant authorities.
