Foreigner Caught Red-Handed Allegedly Trying to Steal Cannabis from Store in Patong

Patong –

A foreign tourist was caught red-handed while he was allegedly trying to steal cannabis at a convenience store in Patong.

Local news reported this week with some CCTV footage from a convenience store on the Rat Uthit 200 Pi Road in Patong near the OTP Market.

The unidentified male foreign tourist was clearly seen on the CCTV footage. He was seen picking up cannabis from a stall before putting it in his bag.

Unluckily he accidentally dropped some of it before the shop seller realized. The foreign tourist returned the stolen cannabis to the seller.

However, the seller told local media that they did not take any legal action with the tourist.

Despite this, the CCTV footage was later released as a deterrent for other possible thieves.
