Teenager Dies and Another Person Seriously Injured After Motorbike Crash at Thalang Intersection

A 17-year-old teenager was pronounced dead at the scene while another person sustained severe injuries after two motorbikes collided at an intersection in Thalang.

The Thalang Police were notified of the accident on Monday morning (May 1st) at Baan Kean Intersection on Thep Krassarti Road in Thep Krasattri. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find two damaged motorbikes on the road.

Nearby they found the body of a 17-year-old male teenager with a severe wound on his head. Another motorbike rider, Mr. Prakaipet Rawattoe, 30, had sustained severe injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Witnesses said both motorbikes were riding from different directions at the junction’s traffic lights.

The accident is still under review by Phuket police.
