Thirteen Men Test Positive for Drugs in Random Checks Around Rawai, Phuket

Thirteen men tested positive out of 85 random urine tests for drugs in Rawai, Phuket.

The Mueang Phuket Administrative Chief Officer Mr. Danai Jaikaeng told the Phuket Express that a crime and drug checkpoint was set up on Friday (April 27th) near Tai Mai Village in Rawai.

More than 40 officers and defense volunteers were stationed at the checkpoint. In total 85 men who were passing through the checkpoint took urine drug tests.

Thirteen of them tested positive for drugs, they all reportedly agreed to be treated and given rehab.
